  17. to offend the bandwidth gods. <g>

  19. I just sent a file from my OpenBSD box to my Linux system with cps=4063! 
  20. The piece I was missing was that I had to set up kermit to handle the
  21. login and get rid of the getty spawned tty session. Once that was done
  22. I could set line and speeds first on both ends, something I couldn't do
  23. once getty had taken possession of the line, and then set one end to 
  24. server and let her rip. I haven't pushed the speed thing but that 4063 was
  25. with both ends set to 38400. (This is with a null modem cable.)

  27. Here's a question or two: why do I get a '?Login ignored' once I do login?

  29. And, I upgraded the Linux kermit to one of the 'cku195' binaries, and I
  30. seem to have lost a neat on-screen display of file transfers that my
  31. ver. 6 kermit provides.
